I have a sweet mommy bird building a nest in the big cactus right outside my kitchen window.
It is such a joy to have been watching her everyday getting that home ready for her babes.
I think this is close to being finished.
Hope you can see it in the photos with out too much trouble.
Susan

ReplyDeleteHow cool! What kind of birds?
ReplyDeleteDon't know what type of bird but I am going to see a client today who is a big birder and I will find out from her. the little mommy is still being busy sorting out the nest. We had a hugh storm yesterday and I thought it would harm the nest but guess not.
ReplyDeleteIVickie I think she build s the nest in the cactus because the neighborhood cats can't get up in it.
smart bird

Talked to my bird friends and it looks like the mommy birdie may be a bewick's wren. pronounced like the word buick. Must be someones name. any way they abound around here. We thought it might be a cactus wren (duh) but doesn['t seem she has enouch spots. So I will keep you posted Nice day all
