Cigarette Update, Again

Ok  it is that time of the cigarette cycle again. Checking in to let basically myself know how I am doing.

Don't you just love the Van Gogh. He had the right idea.

Well since I said I was going to quit smoking, 28 days have passed .Within these 28 days I have managed to not smoke for 22 of them. I guess not bad considering I was smoking every day for a year before that. With an occasional day off here and there.

What do you all think. Really let me know if you want because I do appreciate the support you all out there have given me and your opinions mean a great deal to me.

Also make sure to check out my previous blog with the link thing. I know many of you love kitties and I am sure have seen "Simon's Cat" cartoons before. I have never seen this one. It's cute.

Have a great day where ever you maybe, if it's winter or summer, soon to be fall and spring. Nice weather for all, I hope.

  4. You are doing great. I'm right there with ya. Can't say I really want one at this point. You know when a crisis occurs you think you need one....wrong. I made it through a biggy without one. I know you will do better, because it isn't like I'm not thinking of one...cheers.

  5. It takes a lot of strength to quit any grossly addictive habit, like smoking or drinking or drugs. I admire you for having the fortitude to correct a poor choice that you made when you started, but even more, I rejoice in the fact that you care enough about yourself, and have the sense of self-worth to follow through with your plan...the fact that you faltered once or even twice doesn't matter...what matters is that you jumped right back in and continued working toward your goal. GREAT JOB!

  12. I take chantix. It's hard when everyone around me smokes. I hate the smell. My office and bedroom are the only rooms that dont stink. I am slowly cleaning up the other rooms. I told my husband I need a housekeepr to de-smoke my house. It's just so damn hard. I wanna live, I wanna live. Just being funny here.

  14. Oh never mind it's gone. Anyway I wrote, I want to check out that chantix stuff, I need help with this whole mess. I really want to bread this nicotine thing so if I do want to sit back and have a drink and smoke once in a while I won't feel like I need to all the time. No more addictions in my life.

  15. Chantix is evil. I find myself doing weird things. Sometimes while driving I feel drunk. My doc said to spilt the dose in half. I am waiting for results. Smoking is evil also. Such a bad habit..

  16. patrica try a book titled "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking"by Allan Carr. That is how I finally stopped. I know it sounds weird but it worked. You can get it on Amazon for 10.95. It is worth every penny. Check my blog from about two months ago.
