A fellow here on Multiply ran a post about this incident entitled, "He's a Grand Old Fag" (a cheap-shot toward Mr. Frank's sexual-orientation).
Rush Limbaugh said yesterday that "Barney Frank lives around Uranus".
The right has degenerated into a group of sniveling child-like creatures, throwing cheap-shots and insults. It's too bad there are too damned many of them - we could ignore them otherwise.
It is too bad they have no intelligent suggestions to add to the conversation. Rather they have to resort to calling Obama, Hitler. They say that the health plan is Nazism. They are led like sheep by the insurance industry and drug companies who have large war chests to try to fight any change that will effect their bottom line. They raise the fear that if the government takes over health care that all sorts of evil will come about, the worst being the rising taxes. They don't mention that the fastest growing deduction in your stagnant paycheck isn't taxes, but health care. At the same time they continue to reduce services and limit payments. Worst they are looking to Mass as a model. Puh-lease. The state becomes the muscle for the insurance industry. They threaten to take away your tax exemptions if you don't pay up to the insurance industry.
Wouldn't it be nice to just be able to ignore them. and hell when you can't say anything nice lets just gay bash. Like Barney says "a dining room table"
I have a buddy that went in for a gall bladder operation - now the ins comp decline to pay, leaving the poor guy to deal with the hospital bills...Oy.. It has to stop.

I'm recently not hardly as articulate as your friend Wolf - great discussion there, Wolf - just gotta add that we're, overall, generally quite shocked by some people's reactions since your very-promising new president was elected ... so, it's so good that people like Barney Frank are talking about this ...
