Ok so I am an idiot. Earth Day falls on April 22nd, that is a Wednesday, not today. Looks like there will be celebrations the weekend before and after and that whole week. Lets hear it for Mother Earth..
I think the H & I were watching TV, but all the rest of the lights were out at that hour, as is usual with an aging couple whose wild life might consist of drinking a regular Coca-Cola after 8 p.m., lol! A worthy gesture. I wonder what the graph of power grid effects will look like, if there is one that spans the earth. I'll be looking for the results.
Actually,tonight was Earth Night.Everyone was suposed to turn their lights off for an hour starting at 8:30pm EST. I did. It was kind of nice.
