Smoking

Ok yesterday was my first day with out a cigarette. Of course I ate my face off but I would rather do that than smoke. Started an arobic work out thing. Using a DVD I have. Hope that will start to get rid of some of the pent of cravings. Do jumping jacks instead of smoking.

So I guess I will check in each day and see how many I can do before I totally lose my mind.

Wish me luck.

  2. Way to go! You've made a very wise and excellent decision! You CAN do it....Just try to keep really busy...especially with your hands. Another incentive? Search the internet for really gross (and there are plenty) photos showing cancerous lesions on people who are smokers....not only lungs, but lips, gums, mouth, face and so on....print these nasty photo out, and tape them on your refrig, and bathroom mirrors. The photos will remind you of what you DON'T want to happen to YOU. I'm rooting for you. Positive affirmations coming your way!

  4. I DO wish you luck. I've done it and Brian who had a 65 year habit has been a non smoker for 6 months. I thought I'd never see the day... I'm so proud of him. Big hugs.
